Marta Bigio Joins Weber Shandwick to Lead Sustainability Offering in Asia Pacific
Weber Shandwick, the global strategic communications and consulting network, today announced the appointment of Marta Bigio to senior vice president, Sustainability Lead, APAC.
Based in Singapore, Bigio will report to Carolyn Devanayagam, Head of Corporate Affairs, Weber Shandwick, Asia Pacific and will support the firm’s clients in navigating an increasingly important business imperative today around building purpose-led and sustainable practices within their business.
Bigio previously led the sustainability practice of a communications firm in the region. During this time, Bigio worked with clients to define, build, and implement sustainability strategies whilst developing the agency’s own sustainability efforts. Prior to Redhill, Bigio led the communication strategy, corporate positioning and issues and crisis management for Unilever’s sustainable sourcing agenda. She is also currently the co-chair Sustainability Committee at PRCA where she develops tools and assets to equip sustainability professionals to speak authentically about sustainability.
