Weber Shandwick picked up the gong for The Holmes Report Asia Pacific Consultancy of the Year at the gala event held last night at the St. Regis hotel in Beijing.

Along with the top accolade of the evening, the agency also picked up 4 campaign awards. Work with Nutricia in Australia won two categories, Reputation Management and Crisis & Issues Management. The team in China took home two awards for work with Master Kong and Ocean Spray for the Corporate Image and Integrated Marketing categories respectively.

The inaugural In2 Innovation Summit, an event designed to explore the future of communications and engagement, was held during the day. Weber Shandwick was also recognized with 3 awards at the In2 Awards, celebrating excellence in content creation. The Creation team in Singapore were awarded for their work with Microsoft on the Asia Pacific Digital Newsroom, whilst Australia were awarded again for Nutricia in the Brand Recovery category. Weber Shandwick’s Asia Pacific website also received its second accolade since launch – a Certificate of Excellence for the Best Use of Blogging. 

As part of the summit, Ian Rumsby, Chief Strategy Officer and Chairman, Australia, shared the stage with Dan Dimmock of Futurebrand as they discussed the topic Cities of Influence.
