Weber Shandwick has been named Asia Pacific PR Network of the Year at the 2014 Mumbrella Awards, held in Sydney last night. The award was based on Weber Shandwick’s client work, impressive revenue growth across the region, culture and innovation, as well as industry-leading offerings and impressive client and staff retention rates. Mumbrella is widely recognised as Australia’s premier media and marketing publication; it has a younger Asia Pacific site, mumbrella.asia. The awards are now in their 5th year, with a focus on recognising only the bravest and the brightest work. Judging throughout the process was rigorous, including an agency presentation to a jury panel in Singapore. Darren Wooley, MD of TrinityP3 and captain of Mubrella’s jury for the APAC categories, said: “It was clear across the three APAC categories judged that while all the shortlisted agencies  had a good year, the winners were the agencies who articulated a clear strategy and direction.”
