The general impression of physicians in Asia is that they are time poor, with little time to spend consuming online content. However, according to a recent survey carried out by the Weber Shandwick Asia Pacific Healthcare practice, the opposite is true.

Doctors in the region are highly connected online, spending twice as much time online each month than the average Asia Pacific user. They are also hungry for content relevant to their specialities and use the internet regularly to access online video, downloadable medical presentations and general health information. For more information on the survey, contact Robert Broad, vice-president, Healthcare, at Weber Shandwick.
