Weber Shandwick’s Sydney team take their coffee seriously, which is why they’re so proud of their most recent collaboration with Nespresso.

To celebrate the arrival of Nespresso’s most popular Limited Edition Variations flavours to the permanent range of Grand Cru coffees, Nespresso worked with some of Australia’s most celebrated chefs — Alessandro Pavoni, Justine Schofield and Darren Purchese — in The Great Flavour Debate.

To kick-off the campaign, Flavour Captains turned a Sydney kitchen upside down in a fight about which flavour  is best. Nespresso Club Members and brand fans were invited to select a team, Chocolate, Vanilla or Caramel and join the conversation on the Nespresso Facebook page or tagging the comments with #FlavourDebate. The discussion then unfolded live in a real-time stream on the Facebook app.

To encourage coffee lovers to find new ways to enjoy the Variations, the Flavour Captains and prominent Australian food bloggers created exclusive recipes for Nespresso, infused with the new releases. These recipes were made available on Nespresso’s Ultimate Coffee Creation website, and recipe cards in-store pushed shoppers to the site via QR code.

Coffee lovers could also vote for what the next Nespresso Variations flavour would be. The new flavour is set for release in November. Visit the Nespresso website to see the eventual winner.
