Recently, Weber Shandwick Australia’s Healthcare team set about answering this curly question – “How can we use creative storytelling to preserve the miracle of antibiotics?”

Film festival Tropfest and not-for-profit medical education organisation NPS MedicineWise, posed the question, and created a short film competition – #SaveTheScript – to answer it.  They invited creative storytellers across Australia to raise awareness about antibiotic resistance through the creation of a 45 second short film.

How did our Healthcare colleagues and in-house Studio team decide to attack the issue? Get a couple of colleagues to dress up in a bug costume, and build a story about life-size SuperBugs causing chaos – of course!

You can check the SuperBugs video out below, and we also spoke to Gareth Finch, Vice President – Head of Healthcare about #SaveTheScript, the inspiration for SuperBugs and whether people had as much fun with the Bug suit as it looked.
