Weber Shandwick teams across Asia Pacific celebrated at The Holmes Report APAC SABRE awards, held on 18 September in Shanghai.

Weber Shandwick was among the most awarded agencies of the evening, taking home trophies for client work in the Telecommunications (Korea), Marketing to Youth (China), Marketing to Men (India) and Indian Sub-Continent categories. The India team was also a finalist for Best In Show, while Weber Shandwick took to the stage a fifth time to receive the award for APAC Digital Consultancy of the Year.

Earlier, Weber Shandwick’s own webershandwick.asia won the SABRE award for Excellence in Content Creation in the Owned Media: Blog category (across all industries), and also received a Certificate of Excellence in the Owned Media: Website category.  The China team also received Certificates of Excellence in the Special Event, Digital Placement, and Mobile App categories.

The award ceremony was paired with the third annual Holmes Report ThinkTank Live event in Asia Pacific. Attended by agency heads and thought leaders, the theme centered around Digital Marketing and touched specifically on marketing for Chinese consumers. China chairman David Liu joined a dynamic panel discussion, on the role of KOLs versus the media, moderated by Stephanie Yu, VP, Healthcare.

Weber Shandwick has consistently been recognized at the APAC SABRE awards for its work across Asia Pacific, being awarded five APAC SABREs and named as both Global Consultancy of the Year and Korea Consultancy of the Year in 2012 by The Holmes Report.
