Jon Wade, head of digital for Asia Pacific at Weber Shandwick, discusses how PR is making use of mobile channels. Wade argues that the industry is not as advanced in mobile as it should be — “It’s not just PR, agencies in general are not great in the mobile space” — but sees strong future potential, particularly in the area of mobile apps. “Apps lend themselves to mobile because they easily integrate all the functions of the phone…the question is, what are these applications going to be used for?”
