06.23.2021

Weber Shandwick is proud to announce several senior promotions across its Asia Pacific locations, including Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. The promotions continue the firm’s ongoing expansion across capabilities and, in deepening the network’s senior bench, enhance client work and partnerships.

After nearly seven years with the firm, Corbin Hsieh takes on the role of general manager, Weber Shandwick China, to manage daily operations alongside the China leadership team after serving as chief growth officer, China and executive vice president for nearly two years.

Strengthening the healthcare capability, Robert Broad and Windcy Chan have been promoted to executive vice president, healthcare, Hong Kong and Singapore. They will lead the healthcare offering and resources, maximising business synergies across the dual hubs following Albert Shu’s recent appointment as head of the two markets.

Elevating the Corporate and Technology capabilities, Carolyn Devanayagam was named executive vice president in addition to being head of the corporate practice for Asia Pacific. Carolyn will also lead the technology practice in Hong Kong.

In Singapore, industry and Weber Shandwick veteran Nina Kaur was also elevated to executive vice president, client experience.

“As both a leader and a colleague, it is always incredibly rewarding to see our people grow into new roles within the Weber Shandwick community. The newly promoted members of our leadership team promise even greater support for our clients across Asia and, collectively, emphasise our commitment to always grow our business to better meet the needs of the region’s many diverse sectors,” said Tyler Kim, CEO, Asia Pacific.
